Three locations - Littlehampton, Middleton and Worthing

The original Littlehampton Goddess Circle has been running for over 20 years, the Worthing one started in 2014, and the Middleton on Sea one was started in Bognor, and has been running on and off since 2009. All have changed over the years, people have come and gone, some have been there from day one. There have been various wonderful women who have helped and supported along the way, all very much appreciated. Things evolve, including our Goddess Circles and The Goddess Foundation itself. As in nature, all things change. I'm pleased to say, with us, things are going from strength to strength.
The idea of the Goddess Circles has always been that such facilities should be available to all. There are many wonderful groups, circles and workshops out there, and without judgement, many are out of the financial reach of those who may most need them. Our ethos has always been to make our events affordable to as many as possible, and we try hard never to turn anyone away for financial reasons. Of course there is a cost to everything, and hall hire etc still needs to be paid for, so there has to be a charge. Our Goddess Circles are currently £10, which we hope most are able to afford. We do suggest if anyone can manage more and would like to, it can go towards anyone who may struggle. If anyone wants to join us, but genuinely can't afford the whole £10, we urge them to speak to us privately.
Our Circles are open to women of any belief, as long as they come with an open mind and a loving heart. We can all learn from each other with our sharing of wisdom. We do always follow the seasonal changes and the Wheel of the Year, as we believe understanding the ebbs and flows of the Earth's energies, helps us to understand why we feel the way we do at certain times. Along with the many other cycles of nature and ourselves. We are, after all, part of 'all that is', and not separate from the beautiful Mother Earth.
From 2025, we decided to set an annual theme for each Goddess Circle. That is just part of the usual evenings of following the Wheel of the Year, meditating and discussion. We also include other activities such as drumming, chanting/singing, dance/movement, sometimes arts and crafts, and if time allows we end the evenings with refreshments and social time. We like to include activities to advance our intuition, such as intuitive card reading, ribbon reading psychometry etc. These exercises alone, bring about some amazing results, and help us to understand the power that we have without realising it.
Many great friendships have been formed at our Circles, and members of our Sisterhood meet on a regular basis socially. There are so many aspects to our Goddess Circles. The main part being building a supportive Sisterhood, to enable each of us to follow our own unique Spiritual path, in a sacred space, where we can 'just be'. To take time out in our busy lives, and spend time in a circle with other women, as has happened for all time.
Attending a Goddess Foundation Goddess Circle gives you more - part of something much bigger than one circle. We encourage the circles to intermix, to get to know each other in the whole Goddess Foundation Sisterhood. This is part of the reason for the monthly Goddess and Coffee - a chance to join up with other circles for a relaxed spiritual discussion over a cuppa - with a bit of social time to get to know each other. Growing the Sisterhood!
Also, inter-generational mixing is not available to everyone these days, when families have to move around for financial or work reasons, that facility gets lost. Not everyone has a family where this is even possible. So spending time with women of various ages in a circle, allows a great sharing of life-experience and wisdom.
We have always believed it's not for anyone to tell anyone else how they should take their Spiritual Path, or what is right or wrong. Our sharing of wisdom, allows each of us to explore our own and other paths, thoughts and views - as we all learn new things together. A sharing of wisdom is not only about offering your wisdom to others, but the very act of speaking out in front of an audience can be very empowering in itself. For those who are uncomfortable with this, whilst there is no pressure to do so, they have found this a wonderful opportunity to grow their confidence. Trying something new in a safe and sacred place, to have space held for them as they grow, with no pressure, but plenty of support, works wonders.
The Goddess Circles are about many things. Self-empowerment and growing our confidence through our Spiritual Paths. We believe that spirituality brings about much peace, and in that peace we grow our intuition and well being. That intuition, confidence and empowerment, aids us not only in our own life, but allows us to 'be the change' around us. Sadly, some aspects of our world are not as peaceful as we would hope, so anything we can do to raise our own vibrations, to grow as people, will surely make a positive difference. Plus of course, re-discovering our Inner Goddess, our Wise Woman within, will surely make us stronger as well as being more at peace with ourselves and the world around us.
