Worthing Goddess Circle was started in 2014. We began by being welcomed to meet in people's living rooms, and evolved to our monthly home in the lovely Quakers Hall in Mill Road, where we meet on the first Tuesday each month.
Our numbers vary each month, but we like to keep them to a maximum of 10 - 12. That way everyone gets a good chance to speak, yet the group is of a size so that all feel supported and comfortable.
Each Goddess Circle has a theme for the year, though all follow the seasonal changes - the Wheel of the Year. The Worthing Gaia Goddess Circle this year has a theme of the various Goddesses. Throughout the year, we are still enjoying many other interesting themes. We enjoy various discussions and activities to empower ourselves, build confidence, and enhance our intuition. Some of the activities we include are; drumming, chanting, dance and occasionally arts & crafts. Meditation is a must at all circles, and this year all circles are encouraged to do journaling in circle and at home.
